Special Programs | Fulbright Scholars
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program, established by the U.S. Congress in 1946, brings citizens of other countries to the U.S. for graduate study. Many foreign Fulbright scholars are professionals who will return to take leadership positions in their home countries, often working at universities or in government service. More than 1,800 new Foreign Fulbright Fellows enter U.S. academic programs each year, over 150,000 since the program began. (Adapted from foreign.fulbrightonline.org)
