Gabby Wallace joined CELOP in 2009. She is currently responsible for Coordinating the SABIC Foundation Year Program and for teaching ESL classes.
She has taught Academic English at Boston University and Business English in a multi-national pharmaceutical company in Japan. She has also taught Spanish as a foreign language to high school students in Boston. Gabby is an alumni of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET), through which she taught English as a foreign language in a high school in Japan.
Gabby has presented at professional conferences through the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT), the Asian Conference for Language and Learning (ACLL), and in-company professional development seminars.
Gabby earned an M.Ed. TESOL from Boston University and a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Southern Maine. She is certified in the State of Massachusetts as a grade 8-12 Spanish teacher. She is conversational in Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, and is familiar with French and Japanese.
