Stephanie Ngom

Stephanie is a Senior Lecturer and has been teaching at CELOP for more than 10 years. She began teaching English in the 90s in Senegal, West Africa after earning her BA from the University of Montana in French with a Teaching Certificate in TESOL. Stephanie speaks French and Wolof fluently and has studied both Arabic and Spanish. Stephanie also has two MA degrees from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, in TESOL and African Studies.

In addition to teaching all levels and skills at CELOP, Stephanie was also the Coordinator for the Bridge to BU Program and is currently the Coordinator for Standard Programs. She enjoys teaching international students immensely and is so proud of all her students’ accomplishments. “It’s such a pleasure to watch my students become more confident in their English-language ability.”
