Mark Stepner has taught all levels of ESOL, to students at the college, public school, adult education, and corporate levels. He has degrees in education, including a B.S. and MA TESL. In addition, he has presented at various conferences, such as MATSOL, TESOL, and NAFSA. Mark has several professional interests, including cross-cultural learning and English for Academic Purposes. He has taught in the Middle East and has been a student in Russia.
He has traveled to a number of countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Also, he sings in the Zamir Chorale of Boston and has toured with them to Eastern Europe, Israel, Germany, and Italy. He has performed with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, as well.
Mark uses a varied approach to teaching and strives to create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
