Judith Ann Di Leo
- University Admission Advisor
As the CELOP University Admission Advisor, Judy Di Leo helps students applying to universities in the United States for undergraduate or graduate programs. She guides students through the university application process and helps with application essays and admission test registration. She also schedules university fairs and workshops throughout the year.
Judy decided to study for a Master’s in TESOL after working for six years in the MIT Science Library. She enjoyed working there with international students, and decided that teaching English would fit with her enjoyment of learning languages and working in an academic environment. After teaching for fifteen years, she took the position of Academic Advisor at CELOP, where she had been a part-time teacher. Working one-on-one with students has proved very interesting and rewarding.
Judy is originally from New York City and has lived primarily in Boston and Cambridge since she graduated from Wellesley College, majoring in Art History. Her TESOL degree is from Boston University. She is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). She has traveled to six of the countries around the Mediterranean, and hopes to visit the others before too long.
