Imelda, a native Bostonian, received a B.A. from Boston College in Education and Spanish, and went on to earn an M.B.A. from Babson College while working full-time in consulting services.
As a client manager, she assisted multinational companies in a number of industries in developing effective global technology and communication strategies. After 25 years working in business, she decided to return to her passion, and went on to receive a Master’s in Education in TESOL from Boston University, where she has been working for the last eight years. She teaches a variety of courses, but her specialty is business-related content and skills, drawing on her experience working in the field, such as presentation skills, problem-solving, and relationship management.
In addition to teaching, Imelda loves to travel. She has studied abroad in both Madrid, Spain and in Oaxaca, Mexico. She is a first generation Irish-American, regularly visiting her relatives in Ireland. Imelda spends her free time visiting her siblings on the left coast, as well as taking dance and yoga classes.
