Felix is the administrative lead for CELOP’s group and professional programs. To that end, he is the primary point of contact for domestic and international partners, coordinates the operations of group and professional programs, and provides administrative support to the faculty and students of group and professional programs.

He began his career in international education as an English tutor in Hong Kong and Taiwan 2004-2005, and as an English teacher in Bangkok, Thailand, 2006-2007. Thereafter Felix worked as a program coordinator at Northeastern University’s NU Global office where he created the database, oversaw the operations of two programs enrolling over one thousand students annually, and played a lead role in the development of program policies.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Felix earned his master’s degree in sociology (UAlbany 2008) and his bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a minor in Chinese and a certificate in Asian American studies.

Felix’s hobbies include photography, design, and writing. Felix contributes his creative work to CELOP through website and database development, photographing CELOP events for CELOP’s social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, and serving as the webmaster for CELOP’s unofficial monthly online newsletter: the CELOP Sun.
