Kathy Brenner comes to BU CELOP with credentials in TESOL and extensive business management/sales and marketing experience. She specializes in both academic and international business core programs, along with an expertise in writing. Her overseas employment history has been mostly in Asia: China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and South Korea. In addition to Asia, she spent time as a research associate in the Department of Oriental Antiquities at the British Museum in London. Apart from CELOP, she also works at Harvard School of Public Health with international scholars and researchers who are producing manuscripts for journal publication; at Harvard Medical School with postdoctoral research fellows in the biomedical sciences; and at Harvard University affiliates for writing seminars and workshops. Her research interests involve technology in education and second language writing in academic and scientific discourse communities.
