Part-time Program
About Boston University and CELOP
CELOP has been a part of the Boston University community for 30 years, helping international students learn the English they need to meet their goals. CELOP strives to create an ideal learning environment — small classes of students with similar English abilities taught by experienced Boston University instructors.
All CELOP students—both full- and part-time—are considered members of the Boston University community, which is made up of nearly 30,000 students and 9,000 faculty and staff. With an average enrollment of 400-600 students per semester, CELOP contributes greatly to the University's reputation as the most international university in the world. There are currently over 5,000 international students and scholars from more than 135 countries at Boston University. According to a recent graduate, "I feel as if I have traveled all over the world without leaving the country."
All CELOP students have access to the opportunities and resources available at Boston University. Your part-time BU identification card gives you access to University libraries, computer labs and the Geddes Language Center, in addition to many other BU services and events.
