Lab
Description
MLL
The
Multimedia Language Lab (MLL) was installed at the Center
for English Language and Orientation Programs
(CELOP) during the summer of 1996. It replaced three 20-seat Revox
tape-based labs, which had been in use for over a decade.
The
Program
CELOP
is an intensive English Program run at Boston
University for students of English
as a second language (ESL), many of whom are preparing for study
at an American university. With enrollments in recent years as high
as 1,450/AY and students from over 50 countries, it is one of
the largest and most diverse IEPs in the country and has been in
operation since 1977.
