18 Indigo Apple iMacs. 500Mhz G3 processor, 40GB HD, 128MB RAM, 512K
L 2 cache, 160MHz system bus, FireWire, Harman Kardon speakers, ATI
RAGE 128 VR 2D/3D graphics accelerator, 8MB SDRAM graphics memory.
CD, no floppy drive.
Networking:
100Mb/s Fast Ethernet cards (connected to a 100Mb/s switched Ethernet
hub). Connected to Macintosh Manager server (G4/500), one Windows
NT 4 server, and the B.U. fiber optic backbone over TCP/IP. Static
IP addresses.

on long wall. Dividers provide some sense of privacy, but
not much real acoustic or visual separation.

> Center and back of room. Island supports two
stations and area for papers, books, etc.

> Right side of room with HP 2100 LaserJet printer
in one carrel.

via VGA to teacher's eMac (with video mirroring). Cabled to
