Yes, CELOP is a part of Boston University, and has been for more than 25 years. When you study at CELOP, you are a Boston University student, with all the associated rights and privileges.

2. Can I take courses at BU while studying at CELOP?

Students in advanced levels may request permission to take a class at Boston University.

3. Do a lot of students apply to degree programs at Boston University after studying English at CELOP?

Yes. Many students come to CELOP with the goal of pursuing a degree at BU or another US university. If you want to apply to a degree program after your English studies, you should meet with our Academic Advisor as soon as possible after arriving at CELOP, so that she can help you plan the steps you will need to take to apply to BU.

You should go ahead and register for the next semester at CELOP. If you are accepted into a degree program at BU, your CELOP registration deposit can be applied to your new BU account.
