Program Features
- English language and leadership skills training and how leadership is tied to college admission
- Private meeting with BU Admissions on how selective college admission works
- Brainstorming and shaping ideas for the application essay
- Virtual presentations and activities from BU’s Martin Luther King Jr. Reading Room and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum
- Virtual campus tours of Massachusetts college and universities
- Interactive student panel to learn from international students accepted to U.S. institutions
Curriculum
- 5 week program with 5 synchronous hours per week of class time
- Class times: Monday & Thursday: 8:30-10:00 AM EDT, Wednesday: 8:30-10:30 AM EDT*
- Approximately 1 hour per week of homework assignments and project work (asynchronous)

Instructional Platform
This program will be offered completely online and students may join classes from anywhere in the world. BU will use Zoom for synchronous class sessions and Blackboard as the Learning Management system.

Required Proficiency Level
- Intermediate (CEFR B1) or above
Applicants will take an online placement test to ensure they have the required proficiency to participate.
