Masato Koizumi
Masato Koizumi, from Tokyo, began studying at CELOP in August, 2002. He is currently an exchange student at the University of Missouri.
Koizumi decided to study at CELOP because of the high-quality programs it offers along with many opportunities to meet American students. Also, it is located in Boston, which is his “favorite city in the world.”
He says,
CELOP was a great place to study English. Its location and program are perfect. I found while living in the U.S. that it is important to improve one’s English and get involved in American culture. At CELOP they offer many kinds of activities outside of class, which makes it easy for foreign students to learn about American culture. It’s really fun to have experiences with people from other cultures and to make friends from all over the world.
I learned many skills at CELOP. I became much more confident in my English ability. Also, I learned a lot about American culture, which would have been very difficult for me to learn otherwise.
Koizumi’s favorite thing about CELOP is the teachers:
They are very experienced and know how to teach English well. They are open-minded and flexible, so the class is always fun, and the skills they teach are always useful. The teachers are committed to helping students in and outside of class.
Because of my positive experiences at CELOP, I feel confident living in the U.S. now. I’m sure I chose the right place to study English.
