Admissions Manager

Job Duties

The Admissions Manager oversees the support services in the areas of admission and immigration to students from application process through admission, registration and completion of studies. He supervises and coordinates duties of the admission area staff, student employees and staff at the front desk. He plans and implements admissions and registration procedures for incoming and continuing students in the full-time and part-time programs; he acts as liaison with Boston University Office of Housing to assist CELOP students with on-campus housing. He participates in strategic planning for CELOPs admissions area goals.

• B.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Tirana State University, Albania, 1982.

• Senior Lecturer of English,  State University of Tirana, Albania, 1983-1992.

• National Geographic. March 1991- Contributed to a long piece by Dusko Doder on Albania’s situation after the collapse of communism.
• The New York Times Magazine. May 1992- Contributed to a piece by Brenda Fowler on former Albanian labor camps.
