Directions to CELOPCELOP students can be sure that they are getting the highest quality English instruction available. All of our teachers are Boston University faculty, all have graduate degrees and all have many years of experience teaching English to international students. In fact, many of CELOP's teachers are internationally recognized as textbook authors and conference speakers.

What's more, our students benefit from the relationships CELOP maintains with other schools and departments at Boston University. Advanced-level CELOP students may attend courses at the University, and also receive special consideration when applying to diploma and certificate programs at BU Global.

But perhaps it is best for you to read what our past students have to say about their experience at CELOP:

Semester Book studentsCELOP was good for me because it is a serious school - you can learn English very quickly here and you won't waste your time.
—Marianna Ortega, Venezuela

Everybody at CELOP is nice and open to everybody, which gives you the courage to speak - even with mistakes - so you just speak and speak and so you learn! It's a great atmosphere. I also made a lot of friends and discovered many foreign cultures.
—Amina Cherif, Ivory Coast

I really like the personal attention you get from the teachers and staff at CELOP. When I was having a hard time filling out my application for law school, the Academic Advisor really helped me and answered all my questions. Now I am looking forward to attending Harvard Law School in the fall.
—Augusto Mantilla-Serrano, Colombia

CELOP's multimedia lab gave me access to the Internet and e-mail so I could keep in touch with my job back home. I even learned some new computer skills.
—Wang Yan Xia, China
