Ascher J. Segall, M.D., Dr.P.H. [] and Hannelore Vanderschmidt, Ph.D. [] have been Co-Directors of the Center for Educational Development in Health since 1976 when the Center was invited to move from the Harvard School of Public Health to the Health Policy Institute at Boston University.

Domenic Screnci Ed.D., [], Executive Director, Educational Media and Technology at Boston University, joined the team in 2000.

CEDH has taught courses on Educational Design and Evaluation at Harvard and Boston University since 1968. CEDH has also directed a number of major grants designing and evaluating curriculum in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. These include a nine-year effort to develop 20 texts on preventive medicine and a formative and summative evaluation of the Kellogg International Leadership Program.

Drs. Screnci, Segall and Vanderschmidt currently offer SB715 Teaching Public Health through the Boston University School of Public Health, in both web-enhanced classroom-taught and asynchronous web-based versions. The web-enhanced version is offered every Spring semester.
