Tiputini Biodiversity Station features a small air-conditioned laboratory, complete with a small library, limited office space, a computer room, and a wet lab. The lab is equipped with Macintosh computers, microscopes, centrifuges, drying ovens, plant press, and standard cases for voucher specimines. The lab is supplied with electricity 24 hours a day.
For the ease of using canopy species, the station is equipped with a canopy tower. The canopy tower is approximately 40 meters in height (~120 ft.) A second canopy tower and a canopy walk connecting the two will be constructed as part of the new improvements project. This will provide an even better viewpoint of the rainforest canopy for visiting scientists and students.
An extensive network of trails extends beyond the camp into virgin rainforest. Over 30 km of well marked trails are maintained and easily accessible from the station.

A motorized canoe is available for local river transportation on the Tiputini. There is also a canoe located on the lagoon off the Lago trail. The new improvments project has budgeted funds for the purchase of a four-wheel drive vehicle for personnel use.
A solar-powered weather station provides continuous recording of air temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, and solar radiation.
