Tropical Ecology Program - Ecuador

The Tropical Ecology Program, conducted in collaboration with Boston University's Office of International Programs and the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, is a unique field-based research semester for undergraduate and graduate students. Located in Ecuador, the TEP exposes students to that country's wide array of marine and terrestrial habitatsand extensive biodiversity.

Tiputini Biodiversity Station

The Tiputini Biodiversity Station, located on the Tiputini River in eastern Ecuador, provides students and scientists with a pristine location to conduct tropical study. The station is a joint venture of Universidad San Francisco de Quito and Boston University's CECB and is ranked among the best field sites in the world.

Boston University Marine Program

The Boston University Marine Program sponsors a lab and field research program for undergraduate students interested in Marine Ecology. The semester takes students from Boston to Woods Hole and Belize.
