Central consulting
Central Consulting is a part of Information Technology's Consulting Services department. We are dedicated to helping people use ACS and its UNIX-based applications, and we maintain the ACS Help Desk located in the main terminal cluster in the basement of 111 Cummington Street.
ACS (the Academic Computing System) is a shared cluster of servers. ACS can be used as your sole computing resource, but most people use it in conjunction with personal or departmental computers. Your ACS account provides access to e-mail, Web resources, statistical and scientific software packages, programming languages, text processing software, and much more. Everyone at the University is eligible for an account on ACS.

Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 12midnight
Friday 9:00am - 9:00pm
Saturday 10:00am - 9:00pm
Sunday 12noon - 12midnight (more)
