CAS Writing Center Online Scheduling Getting Started with Online Scheduling 1. Go to the tutoring page of the CAS Writing Program website. Click on “Schedule an Appointment.” You will be directed to the WCOnline log-in page. 2. For First Time Users Only (If you are already registered,
skip to step 3.) 3. Log in using your BU email address and the password you chose. If a Writing Center staff member registered you over the phone, your temporary password is “student.” Scheduling Appointments 1. On the schedule page, check to make sure the correct schedule for your WR course level is showing. If you need to change the schedule, use the pull-down menu underneath the title. 2. Click on a white square to schedule an appointment with a tutor at a particular time. In the pop-up window, select your class level, fill in your instructor’s name, and select whether the appointment was required or not. You may also add the reason for your visit. Click “Save” to reserve your appointment. Canceling Appointments 1. If you need to cancel your appointment or change it to another time, click on your appointment square on the schedule. 2. Select the “Cancel this appointment?” box at the bottom of the pop-up window and click “Save Changes.” Please respect our resources and your fellow students by canceling at least 12 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel less than 12 hours before your appointment, you will receive a No Show notice, and your instructor will be notified of the late cancellation. After two No Shows, you will not be permitted to return to the CAS Writing Center during the current semester.
