Declared Students
Fall 2009 Registration
Advising begins
Monday, March 23, 2009
Registration dates by standing
Junior – Sunday, April 5, 2009
Sophomore – Sunday, April 19, 2009
In order to register for classes, you must meet with an advisor to discuss your course selection and your academic program. At the conclusion of this meeting, you will receive your advisor’s signature on your registration form. This signature will enable the department of your major to release your Academic Advising Code (AAC) so that you may register by phone or on the Web.
The earlier you make your appointment, the better your chances of securing your registration code prior to the beginning of University-wide registration. Should you wait until after the early registration advising period to make an advising appointment, you may be unable to register until after the first week of registration.
For more information, see Department Advising System.
If you are an undeclared student and have not yet chosen a major, you have received this mailing in error and should contact the Academic Advising Center at 617-353-2400 as soon as possible to make an advising appointment.
If you have not done so, you may pick up an Undergraduate Bulletin at the Office of the University Registrar, 881 Commonwealth Avenue (2nd floor), or you may access this information on the Boston University Student Link, where you will also find a schedule of classes. The Bulletin lists and describes undergraduate courses offered at Boston University and will assist you in selecting your courses for the upcoming semester.
