CAS Newsletter

Dear CAS,

We can’t believe the academic year is almost over!

The College of Arts & Sciences Senior Reception is tomorrow in the GSU Metcalf Ballroom from 5-7PM. Seniors, please be aware that you do not need to RSVP for this event, all you need to do is show up in business casual attire. Refreshments will be served, including one complementary drink from Dean Sapiro. Prizes will be raffled off to all seniors in attendance!

CAS is still looking for seniors who would like to act as student marshals during the Commencement exercises at Nickerson Field on Sunday, May 20th. If you are interested in serving as a marshal, you just need to do two things: 1) Email casevent@bu.edu (be sure to include your full name and telephone number). 2) Attend a mandatory Marshal Orientation on Friday, May 18th from 10AM-12PM in the Case Center Gyms at 285 Babcock Street.

We also want to remind all CAS students that Coffee @ Finals will be taking place from 4PM to Midnight from Thursday, May 3rd to Saturday, May 5th in CAS 319. Tutors will be available from 4-8PM each day. You can find a schedule of tutors and academic subjects here.

Please visit our Facebook and Twitter pages for regular updates, as well at the CAS Facebook and Twitter pages. Have an AMAZING summer! We’ll see you at 100 Bay State in the Fall!

Best,

The Office of Student Programs and Leadership
College of Arts & Sciences
