Submit a News Item or Announcement

News Guidelines: Only news and announcements pertaining to the College of Arts and Sciences and/or of interest to the CAS community, sponsored by the University, its schools, departments, centers, organizations, and recognized student groups, will be considered. Approved items received by the deadline will be distributed via both the weekly CAS E-Newsletter, as well as posted to the News & Events section of the Office of Student Programs website. If you are unsure of what constitutes a news item/announcement, please see the explanation below and examples on our website, then contact our office (casevent@bu.edu) if you have further questions. If you have an event listing for our Calendar, please use the event submission form.

Appropriate news items and announcements
Important messages to the CAS student body, including academic and student life information, early publicity for future events, deadline reminders, calls for submissions, as well as highlighting a current week’s event would fit under the News/Announcement category. Follow-up pieces written about a past event may also be submitted; these items will remain archived on our website for reference. Space permitting, on-campus recruiting events or job announcements and scholarship/research opportunities geared at CAS undergraduate students may also be approved.
