Edie Black-Scherer, Director of Programs
Edie is responsible for the management of University-wide programs and events for the college, such as Spring Open House and Commencement, as well as the development of new initiatives designed to improve recruitment, retention, outreach and communication of undergraduate students. Edie strives to incorporate technology to build a stronger sense of community and to improve dialogue among different constituencies. She is a leading force in the development of on-line communications for the college and developed the very popular CAS e-newsletter that integrates students more fully into the life of the college.

Edie received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and a Master of Arts degree from Boston College.


 
Rima Mulla , Program Administrator
Rima, an alumna of the College of Arts and Sciences, joined the Office of Student Programs in November of 2006. She oversees the daily operations of the office and supports the Director of Programs in managing all recruitment and retention programs as well as communication and outreach initiatives for CAS. Prior to returning to BU, Rima worked for a number of years in strategic communications in both the public and private sectors, and looks forward to further enhancing student connectedness at the College.

Rima received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and also holds a Master of Arts degree from Georgetown University.
