CAS course explores ways graphic memoirs convey great themes

Jessica Kent’s Graphic Representation class, offered by the College of Arts & Sciences Writing Program offers students a different lens to study English and literature. Graphic books make an otherwise difficult discipline more appealing to students who don’t view traditional English classes to be their strength.  “Graphic books are serious and deep,” says Kent, “but their illustrations leaven the text, making them accessible.”
