We are pleased to welcome you to attend an open house and keynote lecture on the future of archaeology on the afternoon of Friday, September 21st. The open house, from 1:30-4:00 pm, STO 253, will be a great opportunity to visit new facilities associated with the BU Archaeology Program, to learn of current student and faculty research in different parts of the globe, and to have fun with hands-on demonstrations. Dr. Laurie Wilkie (Chair, Department of Anthropology, UC Berkeley) will present a talk titled "The Role of the Past in Future Presents: Archaeology in the Days to Come.” It will be at 4:00 pm, CAS 224, and will be followed by a reception to celebrate old friendships and the future of archaeology at BU. We hope to see you there!
Location:
Open House - STO 253 (675 Commonwealth Ave), Talk - CAS 224 (725 Commonwealth Ave)
