The faculty and
staff at the College of Arts and Sciences are prepared to help students
make the most of their time in college—and beyond. These are
just a few of the services the College offers to students.
Academic Advising:
Full-time students at the College of Arts and Sciences choose an
academic advisor to help them design a curriculum and register for
courses. In addition, the Academic Advising Center has a staff of
faculty advisors and academic counselors who can assist with questions
about general College requirements, intra-University transfers,
Boston University’s Collaborative Degree Program (BUCOP),
and academic standards.
Pre-Professional Advising:
The Pre-Professional Advising Office offers many services to students
interested in health-related fields such as dentistry, medicine,
or veterinary medicine. Students can meet with pre-medical and pre-law
advisors for advice about their courses or about the professional
school admissions and application process.
The
Office of Career Services is open to all Boston
University students. At the Office of Career Services, students
can get advice on everything from choosing a major to crafting a
résumé that will get noticed. Students can also network
with alumni and employers, find internships, or submit their résumés
for on-campus recruiting sessions. |
