Boston University offers more than 400 student groups on campus, from cultural and religious organizations to political activism groups to vocal, dance, theatre, and comedy performance groups. No matter what your background or interests, you can find your niche at Boston University—and if you can’t, all it takes to start a group of your own is five members.

College of Arts and Sciences Student Groups: There are several organizations and academic societies specifically for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. These include major-specific groups, student representation on faculty committees, and academic honor societies. To learn more about Arts and Sciences-specific groups, visit the Office of Programs website.

University-wide Organizations: Interested in Indian dance, marine biology, fencing, or French history and culture? Student groups celebrating these interests—and a great many more—can be found on Boston University’s campus. For a full listing of student organizations, visit the Student Activities Office.
