Boston University
offers more than 400 student groups on campus, from cultural and
religious organizations to political activism groups to vocal, dance,
theatre, and comedy performance groups. No matter what your background
or interests, you can find your niche at Boston University—and
if you can’t, all it takes to start a group of your own is
five members.
College of Arts and Sciences Student
Groups: There are several organizations and academic
societies specifically for students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
These include major-specific groups, student representation on faculty
committees, and academic honor societies. To learn more about Arts

University-wide Organizations:
Interested in Indian dance, marine biology, fencing, or French history
and culture? Student groups celebrating these interests—and
a great many more—can be found on Boston University’s
