International Relations

Jennifer’s busy schedule includes classes for her major in international relations and her minor in Spanish, as well as Honors Program seminars and meetings for the many student organizations she participates in. She serves as President of the Outing Club, participates in the Environmental Students Organization and the Anthropology Club, and holds a work-study job at the Tsai Performance Center on campus.

A Day in My Life...

   
 
6:30 a.m. Wake up, exercise, shower, get books and assignments together for the day.
7:30 a.m. Breakfast in the Warren Towers dining hall.
8:00 a.m. Finish reading and homework for the day in the Warren Towers study lounge (it’s warm and very quiet there!).
9:00 a.m. Make phone calls to various vendors for the Outing Club, a student group that organizes outdoor activities such as hiking and rafting trips for students.
10:00 a.m. Meet with the Outing Club treasurer to discuss and finalize the paperwork for our upcoming event.
11:00 a.m. “The Pacific Challenge” lecture with Professor Joseph Fewsmith.
12:00 p.m. Honors seminar: “Nature and Politics” with Professor Betty Zisk.
3:00 p.m. Attend the discussion section for my History of International Relations course.
4:00 p.m. Leadership workshop for the Student Activities Organization.
6:00 p.m. Dinner with friends at the Warren Towers dining hall.
7:00 p.m. Off to my work-study job at the Tsai Performance Center. Tonight I’m ushering for a College of Fine Arts concert.
10:30 p.m. Back home, where I check my e-mail and plan for the next day.
11:00 p.m. Run to the computer lab in Warren Towers to print notes for my “International Economics” class the next day.
11:30 p.m. Get some reading done for my upcoming history and economics courses.
12:30 a.m. Time to sleep!
