Welcome to the Honors Program in the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University. I hope you will enjoy reading about our Program as you explore the many rich offerings of the College and Boston University.

Our Program is an exciting pathway through the General Education curriculum in the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Program is fully compatible with all areas of study in the College.

The CAS Honors Program is not a separate school or college within Boston University. No special application is required.  All applicants to the College of Arts and Sciences are considered for an invitation to the Program.  We cannot accept transfer students from other schools or colleges, including those within Boston University.

Invitations to participate in the College Honors Program are sent in the spring by Boston University Admissions, which makes all decisions regarding invitations to the Honors Program, including the criteria on which those decisions are based.
