Genealogy Roadshow cohost Mary M. Tedesco helps unravel family histories and mysteries.

Mary Tedesco (CAS’06) was a math major, working as a financial analyst when she was introduced to a new hobby which would lead her to a newfound career: genealogy. Since becoming a host in 2015 on PBS’ Genealogy Roadshow, Tedesco has been investigating colorful tales lurking in the bloodlines of ordinary Americans. She and her colleagues have pursued connections to Blackbeard and Pocahontas and tested long-held tales of ties to royalty and Viking raiders, among other adventures.
