Class
Adjustment Guidelines
Please note: All deadlines
for adding and dropping classes are firm
and students are responsible for meeting
them. Please consult the Office
of the University Registrar for the
current deadlines.
After registering for classes,
students can adjust their schedules any
time during the registration and Drop/Add
period on a seats-available basis, using
WebReg on the Student
Link or by using a Class
Adjustment Form.
WebReg:
Students may use WebReg to
add a class if there is a seat available
and the section is not closed. Adding a
course using WebReg does not require an
instructor’s signature.
WebReg may be used to drop
a class until the last day to drop a course
with a ‘W’. An instructor’s
signature is not required to drop a course.
Please consult the Registrar’s office
for drop deadlines for the current semester.
Class
Adjustment (Drop/Add) Form (Download)
Class adjustment forms for
CAS students are also available in the Academic
Advising Center (CAS Room 105) during the
first two weeks of the semester.
Fill in all information requested.
Be sure to check that you have listed all
components for each course such as labs,
discussions, and lectures etc. Be certain
to use the correct section to drop, add,
or change sections. Don’t forget to
SIGN the form.
An instructor’s signature
is required on a class adjustment form if
the class is full or closed as well as for
any section changes. A signature is not
required when dropping a class.
CAS does not require an advisor’s
signature to drop or add a course.
CAS students may not register
for AU grades within the College of Arts
and Sciences or in other Colleges at the
University, nor may undergraduate students
from other Colleges take College of Arts
and Sciences courses for AU grades.

Advising Center (CAS Room 105) except on
