Find Funding for Your Research: Workshop

Sponsored Programs and COS representative Chris Horn will present a workshop on COS Pivot, the largest, most comprehensive database of available funding. Pivot is an online service that connects the world’s research community and offers more than 40,000 federal and non-federal Funding Opportunities (FOs) representing over $33 billion in funding. With Pivot, you can: --use your specific research interests to search for FOs --track FOs, save searches, and set up email alerts to be notified of new opportunities --stay up-to-date on deadlines or other internal coordination requirements --find scholars and experts in a variety of disciplines within BU or worldwide --use the Pivot Advisor to find potential collaborators for specific FOs --create and manage groups of people for sharing FOs and searches --see any actions taken by others on shared FOs The workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the following location and time: Charles River Campus: George Sherman Union Conference Auditorium, 9:30am-11am You may attend the workshop, but please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, as seating may be limited.
