Learning Outcomes Assessment in the Arts and Humanities

The Office of the Provost and the Program Learning Outcomes Assessment Working Committees invite all BU Faculty and Staff involved in Program Learning Outcomes Assessment to attend our upcoming Spring 2014 Assessment Workshops. As you formulate initial plans for assessment, and continue to refine and rethink them, we hope these workshops will provide a source of useful information and a forum for discussing challenges and successful strategies.

Donna Heiland is former Vice President of the Teagle Foundation and currently Vice President and Special Assistant to the President at Emerson. She was Associate Professor of English at Vassar before joining Teagle.
Laura Rosenthal is Professor of English at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked with the Modern Language Association on issues of assessment.
