Thank you all for your passionate dedication to the BU community. Our collective commitment to the College of Arts & Sciences is what makes it a superb place to work and learn.

April 3 is BU Giving Day, which is your chance to further contribute to BU’s forward momentum as a global university. It’s also your chance to support the department or program that matters most to you. CAS is on track to have its biggest Giving Day yet, with rigorous participation from across the College.

Your gift will help earn bonus funds, thanks to generous alumni gifts, and any gift made to a CAS fund will be matched up to $27,000 in the CAS Annual Fund. Additionally, a share of $60,000 is on the table for the top four departments or programs in the following challenges:

  • most donors
  • most improved (based on greatest percent increase in donors from 2018)
  • most revenue

You can track your department’s or program’s performance throughout the day tomorrow on the official CAS leaderboards. (If you’re feeling competitive, you can view last year’s challenge winners here.) Also, be sure to stop by the Tsai Performance Center lobby (685 Commonwealth Ave), where our Development team will be hosting a table from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for your chance to win prizes and food.

Every gift makes a difference—you can see the impact your gift will have on campus and through the innovative work CAS students, faculty, and staff do and will do every day. I hope you will join me in participating in this effort and showing the BU community what a great team CAS is. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Stan
