Boston University's Global Development Policy Center (GDP Center) invites you to an inaugural address by Ban Ki-moon, 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations.
As part of the inaugural ceremony for the GDP Center, Secretary-General Ban will speak to the most pressing and immediate challenges in international development and discuss opportunities for university-based research centers, such as the GDP Center, to address these challenges.
The GDP Center is a university-wide research center in partnership with the Office of the Vice President and Associate Provost for Research and the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies. The GDP Center's mission is to advance policy-oriented research for financial stability, human wellbeing, and environmental sustainability.
Doors will open at 10:15 am. The address will begin promptly at 10:45 am. This event is open to Boston University alumni, students, faculty & staff, and invited guests. Please register before February 19.
