The Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies presents a commemorative event, In Memory of Elie Wiesel: A Day of Learning and Celebration on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Professor Wiesel taught at BU for over 30 years and was a beloved colleague, teacher, author and humanitarian. Join us as the greater Boston University community commemorates his life and work. There will be panel sessions in the morning (10:00am-1:00pm) focused on particular aspects of Prof. Wiesel's work featuring scholars, religious thinkers, educators and students. Following a buffet lunch, there will be a large gathering from 2:30-4:00pm) to celebrate Elie Wiesel, includes several tributes. This day of learning and celebration is open to students, faculty, alumni and community members. We hope you will join us.
