Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) is an academic enrichment program that supports undergraduates who want to participate in research projects for academic credit, stipend, or as volunteers. The UROP web site publicizes and promotes faculty research interests, and faculty-submitted research projects, providing a vehicle for students to identify projects and faculty with whom they can conduct research. UROP nutures the entire undergraduate research endeavorby providing research funds, by requiring submission of project proposal, and by encouraging students' dissemination of their research findings at conferences and symposia, and in publication.
