Information
for Declared Students, 2007/2008 In
order to register for Fall 2008 semester
classes, you must meet with an advisor
to discuss your course selections and
your academic program. At the conclusion
of this meeting, you will receive your
advisor’s signature on your registration
form. This signature will enable the
department of your concentration to release
your Academic Advising Code (AAC) so
that you may register by phone or on
the web on Sunday, April 6th (for
those who have junior and senior standing
in Fall ‘08) or Sunday, April 13th (for
those who have sophomore or freshman
standing in Fall ‘08).
The
earlier you make your appointment, the
better your chances of securing your
registration code prior to the beginning
of University-wide registration. Should
you wait until after the early registration
advising period to make an advising appointment,
you may be unable to register until after
the first week of registration.
Registration
materials are posted below in PDF format.
Please follow carefully the instructions
for making and preparing for your faculty
advising appointment. At the time you
make your advising appointment in the
department of your concentration, you
will be able to pick up registration
materials which will help you further
prepare for your appointment with your
advisor.
If
you are an undeclared student and have
not yet chosen a concentration, you have
received this mailing in error and should
contact the Academic Advising Center
at 617/353-2400 as soon as possible to
make an advising appointment.
If you have
not done so, you may pick up a 2007/2008 Undergraduate
Bulletin at the Office of the University
Registrar, 881 Commonwealth Avenue (2nd
floor), or you may access this information
on the Boston University Student
Link, where you may also find a
schedule of classes. The Bulletin lists
and describes undergraduate courses
offered at Boston University and will
assist you in selecting your courses
for the upcoming semester.
