The firm has 100 experienced traders working in its midtown Manhattan, Edison, NJ, and Miami Beach offices and executes over 60 million shares per day, making it one of the most active firms in its industry. Job Qualifications A successful Trillium applicant is a college graduate (spring 2008 graduation OK) with strong analytical and quantitative skills, a competitive, self-motivated personality, and a record of achievement in academics, student businesses, games or varsity sports. Must have a strong interest in financial markets and work/compete effectively while under intense time pressure. Major in economics, mathematics, or finance preferred but not required. 3.1 + GPA preferred. Job Description Position located in New York, NY. Equity traders make split-second buy and sell decisions and place orders on a keyboard-based trading platform while under the supervision of a registered securities principal. This position offers a high amount of autonomy and independent judgment from an early stage of employment. Recruits are sponsored for the series 7 and 55 exams, then taught to use the firm’s customizable trading tools upon completion of the exams. |
