As your first step in the CMTP you will spend 12 weeks in training, this incorporates both the classroom setting and on the job training to help prepare you to drive millions of dollars in business. As an Allocation Analyst, you will impact our stores across the country by analyzing sales trends, anticipate customer buying patterns, develop comprehensive distribution strategies, and make crucial distribution decisions. Your decisions will affect an average of $90 million worth of sales by identifying and maximizing business opportunities.

As you continue along the career path you will develop your leadership and management skills, and create and implement strategic merchandising plans. You will drive a business worth approximately $250 million and help determine short and long term business strategies. You will gain experience on how to identify business trends and learn how to buy off-price merchandise. After time, you will begin to travel to the marketplace and develop valuable negotiating skills while developing and maintaining market relationships and presence. As a Buyer you will travel regularly to New York City and other domestic and international centers analyzing, developing and executing buying strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Prior retail experience is not essential, but what is critical to success are strong analytical and leadership skills, strategic and creative thinking, passion to drive and impact a business, and an excitement for merchandise. Most have a Business-related degree (i.e. Business, Finance, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising), but we recruit all academic majors and individuals with equivalent work experience.
