Sales Associate Development Program
Program Summary:
The Sales Associate Development Program offers an opportunity for high potential, recent
college graduates to develop the necessary sales skills and experience to be promoted
into a field sales territory in up to 24 months. An individual in this position will
be mentored through both product and sales training, as well as complete a High
Performance Project, to support the participant’s development in order to begin
a successful Sales career within Surgical Devices, a Division of Covidien.
Sales Associate:
Through a mix of inside sales and field-based experience, a Sales Associate will:
•Coordinate, sell, and support Covidien assigned products achieving sales objectives.
•Develop new business by penetrating and converting competitor’s accounts.
•Develop and support clinical relationships with Surgeons, Fellows, Residents,
and other Operating Room personnel.
•Increase overall satisfaction levels of Surgical Device accounts to maintain
high retention rates of current business through outstanding service.
Candidates Future after the Program:
Upon Successful Completion of this Program, the participant will:
•Be eligible for a field-based territory within the United States.
•Be provided relocation assistance to his/her new territory by Covidien.
•Be provided a competitive compensation package.
•Embrace the necessary product and sales skills to begin a successful Sales
career with Surgical Devices.
