 Employers often ask us how they can get the word out to BU students regarding an upcoming information session, on-campus recruiting date, presence at a Career Fair, etc. While our office is happy to list you on our web site in the appropriate section and put up posters and flyers on our office bulletin boards, we do not really have a way to advertise to the student body in general. One method of outreach sometimes used by employers is advertising in the student newspaper, the Daily Free Press. For information on advertising, please go to their site at www.dailyfreepress.com or call 617-232-6841 x602. You can also get your organization’s name in front of students by being a sponsor on our home page. For a fee of $50.00 per week, you can be the featured link on our Career Services home page. Only one company or organization will be featured in any given week. Weeks will run from Friday to Friday. We are limiting each organization to a total of two weeks per semester. We will not be accepting sponsors during Spring Break week. Sponsors are able to specify the page on their site they want us to link to. We reserve the right to reject links that function as product advertising, and other links at our discretion. We are also able to accept company logos provided that they fit our small size limit of 38 pixels high x 243 pixels wide. Sponsored links will go in the lower right corner of our page, www.bu.edu/careers. In order to request a week or weeks, please call 617-353-3590 and ask what weeks are available. We will get back to you to confirm your participation. |
