  • Starts: 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2018
  • Ends: 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2018
Interested in data-driven approaches to public policy and international development? Looking for an energetic and intellectually engaging place to work? The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a global research center that works to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. J-PAL draws on results from randomized evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty, and builds relationships with governments, NGOs, and donors to share this knowledge and scale up effective programs. Work with us at our headquarters at MIT in Cambridge, MA; at one of our regional offices in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, South Asia, or Southeast Asia; or on one of our affiliated professors’ 300+ active research projects around the world. At this information session, Lucia Diaz-Martin, Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL Global, Keesler Welch, Research Associate (Trial Registry) at J-PAL Global, and Jacob Binder, Policy Associate at J-PAL North America, will discuss our evidence-informed approach to policymaking and opportunities for growth and impact in a career at J-PAL.
