Find great employees for your organization and help current BU students or recent
alums at the same time: post your job openings with us! Jobs or internships can
be posted throughout the year, at any time, at no charge.
We invite you to post your job and/or internship listing(s) on BU
CareerLink. (Note: If you are posting positions that are short-term,
temporary, and not internships, please log onto the Student Employment
Office website,
or call them at 617-353-3594.) BU CareerLink is part of NACElink,
provided by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
The system provides job and internship listings exclusively for BU
students and alumni and offers employers a convenient method free
of charge for posting full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.
You may also post your position to all your selected campuses for
a nominal fee of $25 per institution.

The Career
Advisory Network, managed by the Boston University Alumni Office,
is a database of BU alums who have volunteered to speak with current
students or other alums about such topics as:
- How they got started in their professions
- Their job responsibilities and working conditions
- The impact of work on their personal lives
- Graduate school
- Employment trends in their fields
- Relocating
Students are told that C.A.N. is not to be used to find a job or an internship, nor is it to be used for any kind of solicitation.
A student could benefit enormously by hearing first-hand about your own experiences. To learn more about C.A.N. or register as a volunteer please contact the Boston University Alumni Office at 800-800-3466, 617-353-5261, or alumni@bu.edu.

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations sponsors career nights during the academic year. Typically, students are able to attend panel discussions with BU alums who are working in a variety of fields, and then meet and speak with alums at a reception immediately following. If you would like to be involved in one of these events to benefit students, please contact them at 617-353-5261.

Another great way to benefit students and young alums is to join and participate in a regional alumni club. We often tell students that networking is an important part of career development, and we know that the bond between BU alumni is a strong one. Encourage young alums; your assistance, advice, and success could be a real inspiration!
