Attend this information session to learn more about one of the most innovative companies in international education! They are looking for current students, members of the class of 2014, and recent graduates to complete summer internships or a year of service through their Curriculum Writing Fellowships. There is a small stipend, but the purpose of this work is to make a difference in the world. If you're looking to enter the world of international education or hoping to complete a meaningful year of service, the Bridge Curriculum Writing Fellowship might be a good fit for you.
Bridge International Academies is transforming education by attacking one of the emerging world's biggest problems: inadequate access to and quality of education for the children of families living on less than $2/day. As of January 2014, Bridge is operating 259 academies in Kenya with more than 80,000 pupils and has aggressive global expansion planned for 2014 and beyond. Bridge utilizes a research-proven, scripted-learning education methodology coupled with big data (all teachers have tablets for instruction, assessment, and data-gathering) to profitably deliver high quality education at less than $6 per child per month.
