Intensive Summer Treatment Program for Childhood Separation Anxiety
Project Description
The Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University is now offering a free, one-week treatment program in a camp-like atmosphere to assist girls (aged 7 -12) who have Separation Anxiety Disorder.
Children must be between the ages of 7 and 12 years old to be eligible. At this time, only girls are eligible for this one-week program. If eligible, your child will receive seven consecutive days of treatment in a camp-like atmosphere at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders.
The week-long Summer Treatment Program for Separation Anxiety Disorder is being held twice this summer: the week of June 23rd, and the week of August 18th.
If you would like to learn more about how you can get help and hear more about our unique program, please contact Lauren Santucci at (617) 353-9610, or lsantucc@bu.edu.
In order to understand your child's particular feelings and behavior, after a free, initial phone screening, a diagnostic assessment will be scheduled with one of our clinicians. The diagnostic assessment is based on a sliding scale fee, and no family will be turned away for financial reasons. If eligible, the one-week Summer Treatment Program for Separation Anxiety Disorder is free of charge for all children.
