Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Program

Anxiety disorders are one of the primary mental health problems affecting children and adolescents today. The Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at the Center offers clinical services to young people experiencing difficulty with fears, anxiety, or shyness.
The program provides comprehensive evaluations and cognitive-behavioral treatment for children and adolescents between the ages of 7 and 17. The Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders website provides more information on the disorders that we treat, and free treatment can be available to patients who qualify for participate in one of our research opportunities.

Special Programs
- One Week Intensive Treatment Program for Adolescents with Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia Back in May of 2006, ABC's Good Morning America featured Dr. Donna Pincus, Director of our Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program, treating an adolescent with panic disorder via the Intensive Treatment Program.
