#Not one more! #We want us alive!
"Throughout the last decade, in Spain and Latin America, there has been an increased visibility of feminist movements that campaign against gender-based violence. These groups hold massive protests against femicides, which is often widely covered by the media. They have also taken an active participation in a variety of political issues, campaigning against gender roles, sexual harassment, sexual objectivity, and prohibitions on abortion rights. In this presentation, we will explore the forms through which this movement expresses itself: demonstrations, strikes, and the arts. In this way, artistic expression works to create space where societies advocate for more equitable human relationships and social awareness based on a shared humanity. Presented in Spanish.
